MN DOT Annual Registration (Important)
It has come to our attention that MN DOT has started a new program in January requiring all motor carriers to update their information annually. For household goods carriers MN DOT is using the Household Goods Mover Permit Application. No mention of this was made at our January meeting with MN DOT. The explanation we were given was that MN DOT was not being timely informed of changes to carrier's locations and contact information. The annual update will be sent out with the annual vehicle renewals fo each carrier. There should be no reason to re-file your insurance information unless it has been changed or cancelled.
